Fukirei
Fukirei is a woodworking project done in the 2nd Semester for Expression Technique subject BINUS ASO School of Engineering. It is a candle holder with owl and its egg for the design. Constructed with 2 parts, the owl for the bigger candle and egg for the smaller one, these parts can be stacked making it compact for use.
Above is the idea sketch and initial design of Fukirei, the outline done by hand drawing and the coloring is digitally done using Medibang Paint Pro.
Above is the mechanical drawing of Fukirei with the scale of 1:2. The mechanical drawing was done using Autodesk Inventor 2022.
The final mock up of Fukirei. The base material is plywood coated with varnish and acrylic paint.
